David A. Wright P.E., R.P.L.S.

Principal

Mr. Wright has over 30 years of broad experience in civil engineering, and is strong in surface and sub-surface drainage design, hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering and geo-environmental services. Prior to Apex, Mr. Wright operated his own geo-environmental firm, and managed an office of a national consulting firm, where he directed geotechnical, environmental and ground water studies, and construction quality assurance evaluations. He served for five years as engineering manager of a 30-person civil engineering firm specializing in site development, highway, and water resources projects.

Prior to 1988 Mr. Wright gained an extensive background in general civil engineering, highway and transportation engineering, water resources, environmental research, and geo-environmental engineering. Research, design and management experience was gained with State and Federal regulatory and public works agencies, including multi-state geographical experience. He has also worked with several private consulting firms.

Timothy L. McDaniel P.E., R.G.

Principal

Mr. McDaniel has an extensive background in geotechnical, geological, and environmental engineering. Prior to joining Apex, Mr. McDaniel worked for geo-environmental and civil engineering firms in Tyler, San Antonio, El Paso, and Houston.

Mr. McDaniel has directed numerous civil engineering and geotechnical engineering projects for private and public entities. Utilizing his broad background, he has successfully managed projects from preliminary planning and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments through the geotechnical investigation, civil design, materials engineering and QA/QC during construction. Mr. McDaniel has the unique capabilities of understanding and managing all facets of an engineered project ranging from hazardous waste landfills to major family theme parks.
